Skill Education: Empowering Students through Skill Development

Being provided with an arena to enhance personal growth and empowerment is crucial for the all-round development of every child. Keeping this vision in sight and staying in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP), skill development classes were organised for students of classes VI to VIII. The objective of the program was to impart practical skills that not only enhance creativity but also contribute to the preservation of traditional craftsmanship. One such skill development class focused on the art of making Palm Leaf Mats. It aimed at acquainting students with the age-old craft of weaving mats using palm leaves, a skill deeply rooted in our cultural heritage. Our vidyalaya remains committed to equipping students with future-ready skills, including Artificial Intelligence for grades 9 and 10.
