Kendriya Vidyalayas are conspicuous centers of excellence, creativity and learning that mould the students of today into responsible citizens of tomorrow. They offer an environment conducive to not only cognitive development, but also building character and thus creating holistic individuals equipped with key 21st century skills. The teachers are the most substantial resources of the Vidyalaya, who are readily adapting to the demands of an ever changing educational scenario where the traditional is constantly replaced by the modern. They keep abreast of the latest changes, be it pedagogy or technology, with a view to providing the best to their students. Students flower and flourish under the affectionate care and guidance of the mentors, who guide and assist them to confront and address real challenges in life. They learn, new domains and concepts and to wield their faculties to come up with ideas that can change the society. The vision of Kendriya Vidyalayas is to develop an equitable and vibrant knowledge society as envisioned by the NEP 2020.We aim to develop human beings capable of rational thought and action, possessing compassion and empathy, courage and resilience, scientific temper and creative imagination with ethical values. The multi- cultural and linguistic diversity of the Kendriya Vidyalayas, where children come from diverse backgrounds broadens their horizon and offers them an exposure that surpasses mere textbook learning. Thus children celebrate various festivals and enjoy art and music of different cultures. This sensitizes them to the rich cultural diversity of India. In this journey of self – enrichment and enhancement, the role of parents, teachers and the other mentors of the Vidyalaya are equally important. Let us march together into the future, with courage and conviction. In the words of Swami Vivekananda, Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.

Children are the asserts of our Nation, more valuable than any other. To Sculpt, mould and shape them requires persistent and unwavering efforts. Education is a systematic process through which child acquire knowledge. The goal is to make the individual perfect. Amidst the changes that are sweeping the School education today, besides developing this valuable human resource, the School aims to help each child to attain educational achievement to the best of their potential promoting the development of resistance, determination, confidence and creative and critical thinking, good social skills, and the availability to form the good relationships. To help children in participating in community life and fulfilment of civic and social responsibilities and to produce children who can go into work force and become productive citizens of the country. It recognizes that a “practical” aspect of schooling must be satisfied. Young people for a healthy life style including physical activities and participation in healthy leisure activities. To apply their understanding of information to “real life” problems. Education is not learning by rote and then repeating it in the examination. Our approach is student centred and goes beyond text books, classrooms and boundaries. Students develop practical skills, enabling them to apply their learning to unfamiliar situations and think critically about issues. The harmonious development of the physical, mental, morel (spiritual) and social faculties, life of dedicated service. These prepare them for a long life success. Hoping that our children besides carving a niche for themselves also prove to be beacon lights to those who are standing at the cross roads. We are very grateful to our parents to their sincere involvement in School. Without their single- minded Co-operation between the School and home we cannot offer holistic Education. I wish you all a progressive and promising Session ahead.
